I have a small test lab at home running different services. Anything that is in SSL throws a cert error, and I'm sure most of us agree that this is a pain in the rear..
I was looking around at like lets say Thawte.. and starting at 43 dollars you can get an Web Server certificate.. I may have multiple web servers, VPN servers etc though..
If I setup an MS Certificate Server can I buy like a root cert from a trusted authourity and import it as my top level cert, then every cert I generate would be signed by it and trusted by most browsers/phones etc?
Or maybe this would just be too expensive for a simple test lab?
