Ok, so me and a friend mutually own a server together. Since I'm better at coding and research, he wanted me to try and hack our site.. To see what kind of potential security exploits we may have, well one of our desktop applications, has our SQL database
username and password, and host up in it, although its obfuscated. I successfully de-obfuscated the application, so I know if someone is smart enough and determined, then they can get access to my SQL database. I then logged into our cpanel using my account
( admin ) and uploaded a shell through the SQL database back up section and located it and logged in. So I successfully shelled my server, now I want to know of its possible to get passed safe mode and get admin through my shell... Does anyone have any scripts
to test on it, to see if that's possible. I need to know to determine if I shouldtemporarily shut down the server and add more security It's windows nt 6.1 ( windows server 2008 r2 sp1 )
