Migrate CA to different hostname -

Hi all,

I've read lot of threads here, and blogs over the Internet, but I'd like to be really sure... :)

I need to migrate enterprise subordinate CA from Windows 2003 DC to new Windows 2008 R2 DC.

According to [http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc742466%28WS.10%29.aspx] it should be supported, but I have one doubt. Well, I'll backup CA settings and registry on Win2003, change the hostname in the reg file, and then restore it on the new server - BUT: will the CRL location in AD still the same (i.e. with the old hostname in LDAP distinguishedName) and will the new server successfully place CRL there?

Sorry for creating new thread, but all threads here are quite old and there are lot of them...
