Disable UAC on one application for a standard user.

Hi,

Now I've seen many different attempted fixes for this ridiculous issue but nothing short of installing extra software has worked. The OS being used is Windows Server 2008 R2 and this on our TS - so far I've tried:

  • Run As Administrator for all users on the program's .exe and on the shortcut
  • Create a scheduled task - the actual process of running a scheduled task is itself being blocked by UAC when logged on as a non-Admin

I want to avoid installing a new program and from what I've seen from reading many forum topics on the subject the Application Compatibility Toolkit hasn't solved the issue once.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Ryan
