Hi, we set up EFS in our domain (2008 r2) and use efs certificates installed on smartcards.
The certificate are about to expire and we are trying to renew them with the same key pair, using a RA certificate.
We are able to create new certificates for users, but have an error when trying to renew it : invalid renewal certificate attribute.
What is the correct process to manually renew EFS certificates on smart cards ?
We have some users which don't use smartcard and want to manually renew certificates too, and we have the same issue.
