HI

I'm trying to bind Port number to Self-Signed Certificate. I’m getting the below error.SSL Certificate add failed, Error: 1312 A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated. I used the below command from VS 2010 Command Prompt Configuring port to Certificate.

netsh http add sslcert ipport=0.0.0.0:1006 certhash=<Certificate Thumbprint>  appid=<{Guid}>

As part of the above process i'm trying to configure the port with the Self-Signed certificate. It was working fine without any problem till few days back, but  when i'm doing the same thing on the same machine it is giving following eroor in VS 2010 command prompt

"SSL Certificate add failed, Error: 1312 A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated." I did this total Process on Windows Server 2008 SP1 Machine”

I have read one article from there I tried the following, removed the entries in fromC:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys and run the same command , but get the same error message.

I have read other article there we need to check the entires in the registry Unique to the certificate, but I didn’t get how do it.

I have read other article  there this problem was resolved by KB 981506(The hot fix provided by Microsoft) and this solution is for windows 2008 R2,I tried the same thing in Windows 2008 R2 SP1

if someone knows what to do for resolving problem, that could be more helpful.

Thanks.
