Let me start off by saying that I am NOT a system administrator, I am just forced to play one at work right now.I am working to configure security parameters on Server 2008 Enterprise R2 64 bit.
My system requires specific security settings. I run the security report and it is prompting me to change things in the registry. The problem is there some of the settings it wants me to change to do exist at all, and I am unsure how to create them.
For example
I need to verify that the Mapper I/O network protocol driver is disabled.
I am directed to go to the following subfolder and set the Value to 0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Policies/Microsoft/Windows/LLTD/AllowLLTDIOOndomain
However when I go to the Windows folder of the path, there is no subfolder called LLTD. How can I create this?
