Exporting CA templates for migration

I have completed a migration of our Enterprise CA from 2003 to 2008 R2. Afterwards, I noticed from MSFT's migration guide to import templates into the destination CA. However I failed to export the templates from the source CA (which happened to also be a DC) before starting the migration to the 2008 R2 member server.

I've just read a similar thread here:http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ffcce3ee-1965-4821-bbdb-eb5cfc68083b/backup-up-a-ca-templates-list and now get the sense I really don't actually need to do anything at this point. When I load the 'Templates' snap-in on the 2008 server, I see the templates (37 total) that were from the original CA- though the connection point for the Templates is Active Directory and, of course, many of those templates are not actually published - only 10 are list in the 'Certificate Templates' directory from the Manage CA console.

So I guess my question is do I need to do anything at this point regarding the templates? Are the non-published ones fine left alone in AD? Or do I need to somehow perform an export from AD/import to the new 2008 R2 CA?
