Resolve Domain Controller Certificate Enrollment

What is the appropriate sequence to replacing a Domain Controller certificate that was incorrectly renewed by another certificate authority on my domain.  I should mention that the Domain Controller that needs it's certificate renewed on is also a Certificate Authority. 

I can see the Domain Controller certificate within the MMC->Certificate(Computer) under Personal.  Can I just goto All Tasks->Advanced Operations->Renew This Certificate with the same key.. and then unselect the certificate authority I don't want?
