Radius and WPA-2 Enterprise authentication problem

Need some suggestions here. I have just setup a Access Point to use Radius wireless auth in a test environment.

1)  I have a Radius global security group setup in AD.  When I  add the computer account of a notebook (win7pro) I am testing into the "radius security group"- NPS grants full access (No login required).

2) When I remove the computer from the security group I get "Windows was unable to connect to "AccessPoint".

3) If I go into manage wireless connections(on the notebook) and remove the wireless network connection - Then try to connect again I get a login prompt for EAP-TTLS  Domain\Username:   Password(token):    - If I try to login with an account that is in the Global Security group for Radius I get the same error message as above "Windows was unable to connect to AP"

No events are showing up in the Network Policy and Access Services page except for when I have the computer account in the security group and it authenticates. ID 6278  - Audit Success

So I am lost as why the computer account is working but when I type a user name and password it fails.  Any ideas?
