Domain Administrator Password Change Question

Hi, are there any other repercussions to changing the  domain administrator password that was used during domain creation (other than services that depend on the credetials to start not starting)?  Also, would there be any side effects on applications like Exchange?  i checked on Exchange services and the domain admin password is not used to start up any of them.
