I am trying to create a IP-HTTPS Uniform Resource Access / Direct Access Certificate Request so that I can send it to Thwate as we do not want to manage a public CLR. I am following the instructions for "Configure the IP-HTTPS Certificate" from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj134204.aspx.
When I am in the Certificates Snap-In and creating the request I am not seeing the option to save the certificate so that I can send it. My only option appears to be sending it to my internal CA which is not what I want to do.
While I could Right click on Certificates in the MMC -> All Tasks -> Advanced -> Custom Request I am unsure which options to configure to ensure that this works correctly. Does anyone know where the documentation is for creating a custom certificate request for Direct Access?
