I am trying to deploy a commercial application to my users. The application contains a client software and users need to access specific website. But when accessing that website, it says "an activeX control on this page might be unsafe ...". The vendor confirm that application is signed and safe. Well, I can confirm that too from digital signatures of the files and add-on. But still when using IE it prompts for "unsafe activeX". The vendors explain that is the way how IE works but I felt that is not right.
Could someone explain to me if this is the case? even the applets are signed the IE will still identified as unsafe?
If not, how to correct this?
