We are preparing to migrate our enterprise PKI infrastructure from Microsoft Windows Server 2008 ADCS to Microsoft Windows Server 2012 ADCS. We have an stand-alone root certificate authority and two subordinate certificate authorities. Once we done with migrating root CA , do we also need to migrate subordinate CA to server 2012 or can we remain them to Server 2008? Also are there any special considerations we need to be aware of for migrating?
