i have some questions about security and Auditing.
we are doing system state backup to our CA servers but it is a daily task.
i also configured the CA to send SMTP notification on every certificate issued.
my problem is what will happen if my CA issued 5 certificates since the last backup, and then failed.
we then must restore the CA from system restore. but we have 5 certificates that are not in the CA database and are not monitored.
from my point of view i will need to add them to the database in some way or re-request and issued them.
but still i have 5 certificates (and their serial numbers) how can i manually insert them to the CRL of the CA
