2008 R2 CA, a certificate template was created and issued at V3 (Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise) so all clients have this certificate auto-enrolled.
It turns out a V3 certificate is no use for what we need (Windows 7 EAP Wireless) but a V2 is. Is there any way to change all the certificates that are already on the clients to be the new V2 version, replacing it without having clients having both the old and the new? e.g. instead of both V2 and V3 versions (separate names) being there, can we supercede it somehow but go down a version?
