Windows 2008 EFS Question - Network share Element not Found

Hello!

Working on a project where I use EFS to encrypt a share on a file server.  I am in a domain network, and I have worked through the process of setting up EFS on the domain so that I can now encrypt a file on my local computer that logs into the domain.

But, what I am really trying to do is that I have a mapped drive to a Windows 2008 file server share, and when I right click on the folder to Encrypt, I receive an "element not found" error and unable to encrypt.  How do I make this work?

More background.  Like I said I configured Domain EFS on 1 domain controller and I can now use EFS on my local computer signed into the domain.  The file server is on the domain, but is not a domain controller.  I did notice that the logon server for the file server is a different domain controller - which was not configured for EFS and does not even have Active Directory Certificates role?  When you configure EFS in a domain network, do you need to configure each domain controller, or is this something that should replicate on some level?
