I am having a three tier CA environment (Root, Subordinate and Issuing CA). I was to renew the subordinate and issuing CA certificates, as they were near to expiration date. I did the Subordinate Certificate renewal with new key pair and it went successfully.
Now, when I am doing the renew of Certificate on issuing CA, then I am getting error "Access is Denied. 0x80070005(WIN32: 5)".
I am following below steps for the same.
Going to All task-> Renew CA Certificate and then I have tried both option of either using new key pair or not using new key pair, and in both option, when it go for starting the CA service, it give me this error.
If I select for no new Key pair, then it show me this error and if I go for a new key pair, it prompts me that key already exist and if I want to Overwrite this key with a new one, and if I click Yes than again same error coming. If I click No, then it just close with no further options.
If anyone can help me knowing as how to further troubleshoot this issue.
