We are managing a cluster of servers for a client (2008 R2). An Exchange certificate expired recently. Tried to renew this using the Certification Authority console on the Domain Controller/CA after generating a request on the Exchange server, but received the error "Error Parsing Request. A required certificate is not within its validity period when verifying against the current system clock or the timestamp in the signed file. 0x800b0101 (-2146762495).
Checking the certificates on the DC, it would appear these also expired at around the same time. I believe these were imported from the previous DC/CA which was a 2003 R2 server.
I haven't had much dealings with Certification Authority in the past, so could do with a bit of assistance. What is the best way to get these certificates renewed/replaced so that the DC/CA can do its job properly again?
