Hello!
I have Windows Server 2012 Standard with essentials enabled and some client PCs. I have setup everything correctly and all PC:s are in domain network. Now, I was planning to enable the anywhere access with hostname and I successfully enabled everything. I opened port 445 on my router for the IP address of my server in order for that to fully function. My question is basically how secure is this service, meaning that I opened a port and my server will always be connected to the internet? Is there any known security risks with this function enabled?
