As the title states, our agency is at a stand still when considering moving to AD. We currently run a Novel (edirectory) and Windows (Clients) network infrastructure.
We have a lot of services pending due to our stop to move to AD.
Basically, we have our PC authentication set up with CAC authentication to the novell server which is where all the card certificate are store, thus, "user uses card to log onto PC and network with CAC and pin"
How do we set up an AD with the same kind of authentication?
The question pertains to a higher (then my pay grade) area, but some one needs to find the answer.
We are currently using Server 2008 R2, but do have Server 2012 available.
Any input or guidance would be appreciated.
