problem setting up Certificate on NLB

Hello All, not sure if posting on the right channel.

We have the following scenario, 2 Windows 2008 R2 Servers with the same application on IIS, on Server A we have setup a NLB virtual address, so it can balance the traffic. our application uses Certificates in order to work. so when trying to establish communication the application will look for the certificate on the NLB address, so it fails.

We have a certification server and we have done a request to have the certificate point to the NLB and having the other 2 there as well. So, everything on the IIS is working ok, if you browse the websites on the port 443 which is SSL.

but when logging the clients we will get the "could not establish secure channel for ssl/tls with authority 'NLB server'".

part of the trouble shooting was testing the web services on the web browser and those work ok, so it makes no sense.

any ideas on whats happening?

I have tried to look on the Internet and they suggest binding the certificate to the LB server, but as we have setup a NLB on Server A, I do not find that option there.

any ideas or help would be appreciated. thanks a lot
