there are many application require deleting rights. for example, MS Word, when you edit a file, you never actually edit the source file - word creates some tmp copy and saves all the changes to the copy leaving the orignal untouched. only after you save the document, it first renames the original (still leaving it in the folder, but renamed), then renames the tmp file with the new changes to the original name and only finally deletes the original after it is sure the new changes got commited successfully. If you prevent word to delete the old files, you would see many previous versions of files with weird filenames and extensions.
i just would like to know is there any option in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint that i can prevent making of temp file and use can directly work in the original files like we do in wordpad notepad etc.
