I am looking at Virtual Smartcards on Windows 8, and am struggling with enrolment. From following the evaluation guide provided by MS, there is one step that I cannot complete as part of setting up the Certificate Template
On my Win 2003 CA Server, I can't force the Microsoft Base Smart Card CSP for my certificate template. The option simply isn't there. I have tried installing the hotfix KB909520 as recommended in the KB article, and although I can see the relevant reg keys on my CA, I still can't access the CSP from the template.
Has anyone come accross this before or is there a solution that I'm missing?
