Hi, I'm wondering why giving a user Modify perm on a folder gives them Delete permission, but not Delete Subfolders and Files. My assumption is that it's because Delete trumps Delete Subfolders and Files. Is this correct?
We gave users "Modify" on their own home folder on a mapped network drive (with the default "This Folder, Subs and files") , and one user deleted their home folder by mistake. To prevent this again, I assume it would be best to check Allow on "Delete Subfolders and Files", and Un-check Allow on "Delete". Is this correct?
If my assumption's correct, anyone know of or have a Powershell script that can do this?
