If smart cards are used for AD authentication, does the user still need to know their user password and change the password as regularly as recommended without a smart card.
What costs and infrastructure are involved in deploying smart cards. I'm wondering if it can be worth the effort for 100 users in a single office or does it require thousands of users to justify.
