Moving CA to new server

Hi,

We want to move our (Windows 2008 R2 Standard) Enterprise CA to a new server, with a new hostname.
I have read the Technet doumentation (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc742471(v=ws.10).aspx), and I undertand that I must add a new LDAP CRL distribution point with the hostname of the old server. But after that, can I remove the old server from the domain and turn off completely? The CDP LDAP path will be valid?
We are using only LDAP CRL distribution point.
