For years I've heard to never install 3rd party applications, IE: JAVA, Adobe, flash, reader, etc, other browsers - Chrome, Firefox and the like onto servers because of the vulnerabilities that come with this practice. Is anyone aware of a published document
that states you should not put 3rd party applications on a server unless it is acting in a terminal server role. Thank you in advance for any input.
