I'm trying to submit requests for the "Web Server" template but if I use the mmc snap-in for my account or local computer I'm not given the option of choosing the web server as a template.
The strange thing is that if I go to the CA website and submit an advanced request I can select the web server as a template. I thought it might be cache issue so found this kb http://support.microsoft.com/kb/281260 but that didn't solve the problem.
From reading the forums It looks like the webUI can't be used for requesting certain certs in 2008 but I'm experiencing the opposite in that the webUI has more templates available to me than the MMC.
Any ideas what might be causing this?
