I'm really new at this, as you will see from my posts.
In my domain, I have (6) Server 2008r2 two of which are to handle certificate requests. I had AD CS Installed on both. In my haste I removed AD CS role from the server that I thought was the subordinate AD CS, As luck would have it, it wasn't. Now I am getting Events that indicate the source as Certification Authority. I didn't do any cleanup after I made the change, I just unchecked the role. Could it be possibly to just add the role again and have all of the certificates recognise the new/old AD CS? or do I need to go through the decommission the server and revoke all of the certs?
